Michael Grubb is Elected Member of the Society of Light and Lighting (SLL) Council

Studio Founder Michael Grubb is delighted to announce his position as an elected member of the Society of Light and Lighting (SLL) Council.

Michael began his membership on the 24th May 2023 and will sit on the SLL Council for the next three years.

The SLL Council is made up of the SLL Regional Lighting Representatives, six elected members representing the SLL corporate and non-corporate members, and the SLL Executive. 

The Council advises the Executive on the society’s aims, including developing light as part of a healthy and sustainable future, promoting good lighting, to advise government and other authoritative bodies on the best use of lighting, set standards in education, and provide representation and accessibility for those in the lighting industry.

Brendan Keely, Secretary SLL said “We are delighted that Michael accepted the nomination to become an SLL Council member and we look forward to working with him and receiving his input into the work and direction of the SLL.”

Michael Grubb added: “I am honoured to be elected as part of the SLL Council. I have huge respect and admiration for the work that they do and am looking forward to playing a key role in providing ideas, support, and promoting the incredible goals and achievements of the SLL over the next few years.”
