Over the past few years, we have shown you our journey, demonstrated our core values and opened up to you.
We have tried to be as transparent as possible and hope we have left nothing unanswered when documenting our experiences as a Lighting Consultancy.
We think it is now time to make a shift and change focus.
The Lighting profession is changing. Lighting is very much at the forefront of clients consciousness and embedded within projects as a creative medium – the lighting profession is no longer considered a luxury. On a wider level, people are excited in a way they have never been before. From the Festival of Lights, in Berlin to the Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival in Taiwan, light festivals across the world are becoming permanent fixtures to cities (and towns) calendar of events.
Technology is also in a different place to where it was a few years ago. There are also overlaps of design professions that work with light in different ways. Even manufacture and supply has altered. There is a definite shift happening.
If you have been following our journey, you could say we built recognition during 2013 and 2014.
In the latter years we have grown in confidence and the impact we can make within the marketplace. We now have an extensive portfolio of international clients, global brands and collaborate with some of the most creative design partners around the globe. We want to share with you how everything works and reveal the major venues, iconic landmarks, Hollywood Studios and global institutions who are stepping forward with us.
Let us focus and document this change.
We will demonstrate the processes that goes into our work and reveal how we use light to maximise the potential of all our projects.
This is about sharing the process of projects, from conception to completion. This is not just about showing the fancy imagery and then walking away.
Let us also highlight the people that play a role in lighting today, as well those with whom we support. Let’s celebrate the industry we are part of and document how it is evolving.
We look forward to sharing this story with you.
