Michael Grubb will be speaking in the LewesLight one-day conference on 14th October 2016, as part of the LewesLight Festival of Lighting 2016 which starts on 10th October 2016.
The festival investigates the potential light has to improve the environment and the spaces we occupy, as well as a greater understanding and interpretation of a place, its people and its history.
This year the theme is ‘The darker side of Lewes life’ investigating lesser known and sometimes darker or scandalous stories from the town’s past.
The LewesLight conference aims to promote discussion and provide a forum to raise issues surrounding light and lighting. The conference is open to both professionals and the community we will investigate the social, economic and environmental benefits of lighting festivals and lighting within urban design in general. It will also touch on the social history of lighting in line with our heritage theme.
