We are delighted to announce that Michael Grubb Studio has been appointed by the University of Winchester to provide lighting design services for their new landmark building.
The new £20m project will be the most ambitious yet undertaken by the University of Winchester, currently celebrating the 175th anniversary of its founding.
Interior scope includes Foyer, Gallery, Value Centre, Library, Social Learning Hall, Café, Dinning, and general circulation. External scope includes building facades and all associated hard and soft landscape. A lighting strategy for the adjacent Business School building is also being developed.
The new iconic scheme will provide the university with an impressive new gateway building to the City whilst delivering high quality learning and teaching facilities.
The new West Downs campus will be open and ready for teaching by Summer 2018.
