Mike Cascarino, Head of London Studio at Michael Grubb Studio, spoke on a panel discussion at Clerkenwell Design Week.

Taking place at EC1, London, from the 23 – 25 May 2023, this is the UK’s leading design festival, showcasing a range of UK and international design brands to thousands of visitors over three days.

Speaking as part of the renowned [d]arc thoughts programme, Mike took to the stage on 24 May 2023 at 11:00am for his talk, ‘Sustainable Specification – 5 Questions to Ask When Specifying’. He was joined by fellow panel members Lisa Hinderdael, of HagenHinderdael, and Sophie O’Rourke, of AECOM/Green Light Alliance.

Throughout the session, the expert panel discussed how we are trying to be more sustainable in both our personal lives and in business, but what does this look like when it comes to commercial projects?

Mike and his fellow speakers provided the keen audience with key pointers to consider when working on a project to ensure it is as green as realistically possible.

The Sustainable Specification talk was well received by the audience, who were interested in ways to contribute to the sustainability of the lighting industry.
