Two Projects Named in the Dezeen Awards 2023 Longlist

We are happy to announce that two of our recent projects have secured a place on the esteemed Dezeen Awards 2023 design longlist.

The Dezeen Awards is an awards programme which champions the worlds very best projects in architecture, interiors, and design. This year the awards programme received over 4,800 entries, from 94 different countries.

The two projects which have made the longlist are recently completed Ad Gefrin Anglo-Saxon Museum and Whisky Distillery, located in Wooler in the UK, and F1: The Exhibition currently located in Madrid, which was five years in the making.

Ad Gefrin was designed to reawaken the Northumbrian tradition for whisky, via a new visitor experience and whisky distillery at the centre of the local community. Significant attention to detail was required to illuminate the special features, offer warm hues of light, and to give justice to the impressive circular atrium area.

The groundbreaking F1: The Exhibition allows viewers to experience the past, present, and future of Formula 1. From audio-visual spectaculars to elegantly curated displays, the show provides a journey of interactive and immersive technologies, installations, artefacts, and interviews, across six rooms – all individually designed to showcase the world of F1.

The Dezeen Awards shortlist will be announced in October 2023, with the winners revealed in November 2023. This year’s awards programme is in association with Bentley Motors.
