Re:Lit Project wins LUX Award

Our latest ReLit Project for The Handlebar Café was named ‘Lighting for a Circular Economy Project of the Year’ at last weeks LUX Awards.

The ReLit Initiative was developed by Stuart Alexander and myself back in 2013 with the aim of reusing and upcycling lighting equipment for community projects. Our time is given for free, but the real stars of the project are those who kindly donate equipment to our charity initiative. So special thanks to ProLight, iGuzzini, Optelma & LED Linear.

As a company we are committed to sustainable thinking and change. Over the last few years Matthew Waugh & Greta Smetoniute have researched and presented their findings when tracing the life of lighting equipment. This work has led to a wide variety of internal initiatives and new ways of working. All of which will be revealed soon.
